Advent Lunch 2024

Sunday, December 1st was the first Sunday of Advent - the beginning of a new church year, and the day of our annual Advent lunch. We were joined by many friends and visitors, including people from Peace Lutheran in Abbotsford. The church was beautifully decorated for Christmas. 

We heard greetings from Bishop Kathy Martin from BC Synod and Senait Biadgilign from Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR), and enjoyed music and Christmas carol sing-alongs. 

All funds raised at the lunch will support the work of CLWR, providing emergency food supplies to those who need them around the world.
